Audie It was such a profound pleasure to meet you and FEEL your passion for animals at Dr. Sugar's retreat. Animals are also dear to my heart and we need to recognizer they hold great love for us. They are not just pets - they are sentient beings.

It may be helpful for the members of your community to know that animals communicate in pictures. They don't really have the same grey matter as their human counter parts. While they certainly can learn they are largely "limbic processors." By that I mean they certainly do feel and reflect our emotions. They hold much love and need our respect. It hurts my heart when I see animals caged with food being thrown at them.

Dogs as you know also have a very evolved sense of hearing and can pick up environmental sounds often long before they are detected by the human ear. It is not uncommon for them to sense thunder long before we do. Watch for signs of your pet being anxious - often they pick up vibrations before we do.

And cats, well that is another story. You now how cats sometimes sit on the back of a couch and seem to be looking at something? Well cats actually see the human energy field and often they absorb some of the negativity.

All our creatures are blessings to us. I so support your efforts to increase awareness of these marvelous beings.
