This is an incredible time to create healthy living and loving intentions for the New Year. In this blog series, I will share with you an effective way to create intentions, visualize, create realistic action steps, and take inspired actions for the New Year.
What is one area in your life that you most want to work on and develop?
Health? Relationships? Finance? Career? Family? Self-Care?
Rather than waiting until the New Year with New Year’s Resolutions, how about beginning in December to renew? By the time January arrives, most people around you will just be getting into gear with forceful uninspiring goals, while you have already begun a flow of actions towards creating more of what you desire in your life.
Sometimes what we desire can feel so out of reach from where we are today. If we choose realistic one step at a time goals we can begin to see ourselves moving closer towards what we desire.
This begins with an intention overall of what we most desire. This can be done through still or moving meditation and visualization or writing in a sacred and quiet space.
One of my intentions is for overall health and I created an intention to: prioritize restful sleep, healthy eating, and yoga throughout my week for optimal health, energy, vibrancy, mental clarity, and emotional equilibrium. When I close my eyes, I feel the expansiveness that this intention provides in my being.
Throughout this month, I will share with you the amazing benefits of a step-by-step process to align with your intentions and move into action. For today, take some time to meditate and visualize on what most resonates for you to manifest in the New Year. Sit with this and begin to come into an intention that includes the inner benefits it will bring such as energy, vibrancy, joy or peace. See what resonates most deeply within your heart. When you feel spaciousness and hear an inner yes, this is a sign you are deepening into inner alignment.
Until we have a clear intention of what we desire, we cannot continue to take solid and fruitful actions. Once we have an intention set, we can begin to create weekly actions that move us in the direction of realistically achieving what we most want to create and to bear fruit within 6 months for the highest good. The intention is an essential and beautiful barometer for remaining in alignment with our highest good.
