Looking at numbers regularly is a good way to enhance your relationship with money. This is something I never learned to do and for me it felt a bit scary at first since I started the process when I was deep in debt. Over the last year I have experienced the benefit of looking at money numbers. The more I pay attention...the more the income increases and the debt decreases. Really cool and empowering. Moving toward living abundantly with ease.
Here is an exercise that can assist in enhancing your relationship with money.
Write down what the minimum amount of money is that you require to meet your families basic expenses (e.g. food, clothing , shelter, utilities, healthcare)and be happy.
Next what would you require for the next level of satisfaction (e.g. extra money for dining out or short vacation, extra money to take more classes)
Then take it up another notch of joy...get crazy (e.g. house on the beach, new car, begin a new business debt-free, have my expenses covered for a year, pay someone else s expenses for a year) you get the idea.
Feel the shift from constriction to expansion within you as you explore the possibilities.
