Grey Knickers and Bad Hair Day
How far do you come down your importance list? Do you even feature on your daily to-do list? Growing into an adult often makes us lose ourselves on the way, looking in the mirror, who is looking back, a comfortable in your skin person, or a stranger? Where did those lines come from? Oh, those bags are like suitcases, I look like my mum -yikes!!!!
There is never a perfect time to get around to “me,” but there is only now. We are great at making excuses as to why we need to put others first, get on with life and often grin and put up with the curved balls that life throws us. Really?
What message are you sending yourself and those around you, it is ok to put me down, I will just take it. To earn the respect of others, you have to respect yourself first. It does not matter if you are employed, an entrepreneur, a parent, wife or single . Making the effort to look and feel good, has a marked improvement both on your physical and mental health.
Be honest are your knickers new and you hair recently styled? If your answer is no, then there is a clear likelihood that you are not looking after yourself. Anything will do! If anything will do for you, why would anyone else treat you any different? I am not talking about going and spending a fortune, but new underwear gives you a feeling of luxury and helps you feel more sexy and feminine In turn you feel more confident, having your hair done, we all know is a great lift. So, drop the grey knickers, pump up the hair and see how much better you are today. In turn, how that impacts on your relationships with others.
