The title of this blog is a nod to my high school history teacher, Ms. Vrabac. She had a home-made sign at the front of her classroom that said "Practice Makes Improvement." She liked to remind me that she didn't expect perfection from her students, just improvement - of any kind. Even when my test scores weren't improving, she would comment when she noticed I was taking more notes in class, or that I was trying to be more organized. For a kid with learning disabilities, who was often compared to her straight-A sister, having a teacher notice those "little" things meant a LOT.
