"No pushing allowed" should be the sign that we see everywhere in our life. It is something that applies to more than just being in a line to go to the movies. Everything in life should come from this space.
It should be a mantra that we use in choosing our careers. We get an education that applies to our genius, instead of following someone else's idea of who and what we are going to be when we grow up. I think that in some ways those who have a gift such as being a musical prodigy have it made. They love what they are doing, and no one ever tried to make them go in another direction. Their genius was apparent, and they were encouraged to follow it. For most of us, it is harder to figure out.
When we interview for our jobs we should be choosing the employer because we are pulled by the companies vision. We shouldn't take a job because they said they wanted to hire us, or because we just need a job. We should be interviewing them to see if they will support our creative genius, and be a place that inspires us to new heights of achievement.
When we buy a home, it should pull us in. The land itself should speak to us. The house should embrace us as a place we would love to be in, and share with our friends and families. We should be able to see far off into the future how our life would be impacted by choosing this home. How this home would be our special retreat to rejuvenate our souls each evening.
Can you imagine what your life would be like on a daily basis if you could say truthfully from your heart that you were living that kind of life? Being pulled by your vision throughout the day in every area of your life? Every day would be filled with wonder and joy at what you were able to create and manifest. There are a few special people who have created this in their lives, so I know that it is possible.
In order to have this you have to be fearless and courageous, because you have to stay true to the vision that pulls you. You might have to go against parents and culture, to do what makes your heart sing. You might have to go against what most people call success, because the money and things they fill their lives with, are not what you define as success.
You would be an anomaly and stand out as being strange, because this is seeing the world very differently. You would be an outsider that listened to the inner voice and followed its directions. You would be on the road less traveled that leads you to become more than you currently are. You would be one of those rare people who really believes in themselves, and can see something that everyone else doesn't. That you can see the real possibilities, and then say "why not"? Why can't this be true?
You would see that each challenge is an opportunity for growth and change, and this is what makes your life meaningful. Change and challenges, isn't something to be avoided. I saw the coolest thing on Facebook today where a designer built a new type of cast for his broken arm, that was molded to his arm, yet was like a web, so that it breathed with lots of openings, and you could take a bath or shower with it. Growth and change both say, how can this be done differently or how can I improve this thing? Instead of just accepting what is, you look outside how something is always done, to create a new reality that changes everything.
When you live this life, you discover that sometimes the choices we make, make us. They take us out of our comfort zone, and they expose us to things we never knew were possible. They will call you weird or crazy and you will say, "thank you".
You will say thank you because you are busy creating your future, while others are just going through the motions of living the life they were told they had to live. Don't let anyone limit your power. Feel the vision pull you, and follow it down every path it leads you too.
