This week’s women’s circle focused on the Path of the Healer and its principles of paying attention to what has heart and meaning, and the power of love. The Four-fold way by Angeles Arrien describes effective healers as “those who extend the arms of love: acknowledgement, acceptance, recognition, validation, and gratitude.”These facets of love call us to examine our inner life and outer actions, and provide clues to our purpose.
As BraveHeart Women, we allow oxytocin breaths and relax into our essence or inner life. We look into the mirror and recognize our magnificence. We acknowledge our mind chatter without resistance so we begin to embrace all parts of our selves and then respond from love rather than react from fear or patterns. Once we recognize, we can begin to unravel, release, and restore our connection to our SHE –Soul’s Highest Embodiment.
As we live more connected with our inner life, practice daily mirror love of self, and connect to our purpose, we bring ourselves into wholeness/healing. From this wholeness, we bring our relationships, communities, and world into wholeness/healing.
Arrien also states, “Healing involves the principle of reciprocity; the ability to equally give and receive and the ability to connect. In BraveHeart Women’s Harmony Circle, we practice the art of both giving and receiving. Our presence with each woman in the circle also extends the arms of love: acknowledgement, acceptance, recognition, validation, and gratitude.
Each time we bring a group of women into wholeness, we are strengthening a field that is much bigger than each individual. This field ripples and affects each community, all those who pass in and out of that community, to all they connect to, continuing around the world. As we collaborate with each other in creating the Ripple, we know we are not alone. As the song continues, “We will make this world our home.”
