I was up at 5 am. Too early to start an entire day; not ready to go back to sleep; I needed to do something. Know what I mean?
My cell phone glowed in the darkness, and this social media moth went right for it. I read all my FB notifications, and then browsed the most recent posts of one of my nearest & dearest lady friends. I found this video documentary about a mother and her transgender child. Everyone needs to watch this - parent or not. Just recently I ran into an old acquaintance whose grown child recently revealed they are transgender. There had been quite a few problems between parent and child & child and the world over the years, but maybe most of it could have been avoided if tools like this video had been available.
I organized my pocketbook. Organizing starts with my dumping the entire contents onto my bed. I sorted receipts, organized my Groupons, added a few things to my to-do list, and removed all the loose change. The bag and my life were suddenly a lot lighter.
I bought two online courses with a promo code. One is a Beginners Spanish, the other Animal Psychology. Watch out Shadow and Frisky you might end up being homework assignments.
Next was finally updating my tablet aka Media Central.
And going through the most recent photos in my camera phone.
The last thing I did before rolling myself into my comforter was a little free writing; it centers me.
Much bloglove to all.
