Yes, happiness is a choice. When you start your day you have two choices: To wake up miserable or happy. I choose happy and I want you too as well. Life is too short to waste on holding on to the past, worrying about the future resulting in losing the moment.
Feel into what I just said, "losing the moment" now that would and IS a great lost if we allow that to happen.
So I am here to share with you what I do to start my day and I hope it will encourage you to do the same or better yet, create one of your very own. Here we go:
The sun is rising and its rays are touching the edge of my bed and I know to begin to rise. I turn on beautiful vibrational music and continue to lay there and rest with my hands upon my solar plexus and breath into my belly and release as I begin to centre myself for the day.
As I rise from my bed I ensure that a Smile is on my face as I gaze out my window and express gratitude for another day to be on this beautiful earth and on my amazing journey.
I walk down my stairs as I move into my kitchen to nourish my body with only what is required as I make healthy choices to ensure that I am here for another day.
As my day begins I am aware of my surroundings not only outside of me but within. If a negative thought should appear, I welcome it with a "Hello" and release it on its way as I again focus on seeing the goodness, light and beauty around me and enjoy the connection of others as I reach out to them.
When my day is done, and I reach for the covers as I crawl into bed, I still have the Smile on my face as I know I have been an instrument of happiness for myself and others.
