IrinaIs responding from stillness: discernment with our heart is in the right place?1 day ago
Adriennefor me I read the energy of the conversation as words can get in the way lol.1 day ago
Sushila MResponding from stillness - our heart/source connection brain/and frontal cortex - rather than reacting - from the limbic brain - hippocampus, amygdala, and hypothalamus - is our next evolutionary leap. One by one we breathe in ease and release oxytocin and share the Female Success Model until we are living it. Other groups may have a different name or form leading to the same stillness. From this discernment we communicate and create solutions. It is time for each of us to be responsible for our thoughts, words, and actions. No more blame game - no more other.1 day ago
Adrienneit sure is Sushila and yet we never really know what we will do when violence visits our door step. I know first hand what that feels and looks like. Nimo travels the world practicing non violence, his work and love with children is amazing, he does not run away from the shark he opens his heart and bank account in service. I have not offer such service to the world, opened my home to refugee family and yet I know I am called to do more.I would love the opportunity to speak with .him. 1 day ago
MiaMichelleDeal with the reality with LOVE!!!!! How deal with the reality.... with stillness how do I have to deal with all the reality I face. Great insight! Thank for sharing didnt know him but will look more into this work. 12 hours ago
Ellie DrakeI feel one of the downfalls of the Feminist Movement has been that women stepped into their power outside the house while rejecting the importance of their power of food creation inside the house. This is one of root causes of all the chronic disease in the world (especially the western world), and therefore the astonishing growth of the food and pharmaceutical industries.Having said that, I also feel that the feminist movement has contributed to the maturing of many men who are consciously assisting their women inside the house so the women can also expressed their voices out there in the world. I am so glad about that because I delegated the making of the last batch of homemake sauerkraut and yogurt to my husband! lol :) I must add that it was a joy observing how much love he infused into the cabbage! The point is that we've now learned a lot of what's required in order to click into a thriving shift both inside and outside of the house, thanks to the power of many women and men both in the kitchen and on the stage! Hip Hip Hooray! 1 day ago
Adriennethat was one trap I did not enter my biggest trap was believing the story I was not good enough, walking out of that one now. I do sense this to be true "Having said that, I also feel that the feminist movement has contributed to the maturing of many men who are consciously assisting their women inside the house so the women can also expressed their voices out there in the world". Great topic for discussion Ellie.15 hours ago
IrinaAdrienne, can you explain this a little more, please: "that was one trap I did not enter my biggest trap was believing the story I was not good enough, walking out of that one now. I do sense this to be true"12 hours ago
Adrienneoh my gosh that would take a while Irina, in a nutshell I never bought into giving up my power to create in my home,my grandfather was an organic farmer so I know a lot about food, I even learned feng shui to balance the energy in my home, I learned so much about child development when my daughter was younger I saw all of this as the so important not second to anything, however because I had walked into the trap of "not good enough "I never really rested and felt smaller than women who where telling me that they where "making it happen" found out after I was exhausted a lot of what people say is just words. However I think we live in a great time, people are not dying from diseases that they did even 25 years ago, as a young nurse I witness so many women dying because of cancer, their bodies ripped opened by a careless surgeon and him finding out there was nothing he could do as the cancer had spread so far, women are educated (in the 60's 58% of women where Illiterate). My father did not allow my mother to wear pants (and she had a masters degree) I can't even imagine that happening now. So I choose to celebrate our becoming and our awareness. Women are amazing!4 hours ago

Sushila MI feel happy whenever I look into the eyes of babies, children or any person who is present enough to share a moment in time; all of creation especially roses and flowers and my cat Luna; sunrises, sunsets; the miracle of my body; heart to heart hugs; loving my husband; delicious food and beautiful music. I feel something beyond happiness for being alive; perhaps I would call it gratitude and joy. Since we are using words, the feelings could all be the same. 1 day ago

AdrienneI am so attracted to creativity. My husband (Edward) and daughter make things that look like from nothing to me, e.g. Edward takes a piece of cardboard and turned it into a ship (and to scale) Kayleen takes paper and turns it into beautiful bags. Below is one of her latest designs (I cannot get the back of the to show however its black and silver) They inspire me so much. Who inspires you?

Ellie DrakeThank You. What would be a solution you'd offer? 1 week ago
AdrienneI was sensing into that myself Ellie, the solutions as I am not cheering what I am seeing nor am I swimming away, what I do know is that is has been all been so calculated and reminds me of the movie "Joe Versus the Volcano" , and what happens when we all become followers and want to fit in. When its not happening to us it so easy to say "oh how did they create this/that" or just simply ignore, instead of reaching out asking what we can do, the universe is kind and loving, people not always so much.1 week ago
JoyPWhat we have and what is happening I would say is deep rooted and complex to just have a 'solution'... right? One thing is that we keep the conversation alive, no fast solutions and no swimming away. I don't know and most people don't know which is a good thing. Innovative and new thinking & ideas may be necessary.More listening is a start, everyone has a view, a perspective, a tradition, a way of life, a set of beliefs...and so on. That's the pain & suffering and also the beauty & grace of humanity. Certainly based in history... committed people coming together can turn the tide, the government, the policies, etc. Maybe the moment we stop making ourselves and others wrong, then something new can emerge... maybe, just maybe.I remember an interview with the Dalai Lama when asked about the Tibetan killings by the Chinese and how he felt about it and what he would do. His response which I'm paraphrasing is '... that's why we practice diligently everyday what we practice'. Meaning cultivating peace, harmony and compassion within and for all Beings. He's breathing, embodying and teaching peace and compassion. That's his role and gift to the world at this time. He could get radical and get political and all that, however that's not what he's called to be. We have that sense of what we are called to Be and Do in the world. Maybe if each one of us can awaken to it and surrender to what that is, we can collectively create new conversations... old conversations no longer work.I'm no radical, yet I intend to be aware and not ignore. And I also am in wonder, inquiring and questioning. I don't have the answers. As I surrender within my own evolution and challenges in my immediate circle, my role is to keep practicing Peace, Ease and Joy within so I can be a better contributor for humanity at large.Thank you Irina, I feel you.1 week ago
Ellie Drakebeautiful conversation Irina, Adrienne and Joy...1 week ago
Sushila MI am a radical and don't buy into mass consumerism, war, drugs, and unthinking support for what is happening here. I have a vote for local to national politics even if the top is bought. My dollars count. And yet there is always compromise. I use cars and airplanes. We are still asleep. And slowly we are waking up. Each action counts. We bring our energy and consciousness to everything we do. It will take more conscious beings to change the problems. The people are gathering in North Dakota. We can support them with our money.1 week ago

JoyPDuality in nature is always at play... the contrast is inevitable and maybe it becomes more pronounced OR maybe less! Great inquiry... and I say that there's not a hard and fast rule except in each moment of experience.Who is witnessing vs Who is experiencing it within? hmmmmmOur context is decisive.1 week ago
Agnes WolfI believe Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as I consider it a subjective value. I feel that peace is different as it it is more interactive. Internal peace may radiate out and provide the optimal environment for community peace. I believe that continued education and respectful conversation will help spread peace.6 days ago
