Hi, i'm Sharon, I came to live in Georgia just over a year ago, i was born and bred in England, and i came here and married a wonderful man! but all my friends and family are in the UK, and i am feeling a little lost and lonely , even though my husband is wonderful, i think females need each other too, there are certain things only we girls feel comfortable discussing with another female i think, i look forward to finding out more about this site, and the people in it.

Hi BraveHeart Friends! My name is Stephanie and I live in the Houston, Texas and I've been here for the majority of my life. It is a sure pleasure to be apart of a well established community of women. I really do hope to make friends here by becoming familiar with many of the sites useful functions by sharing my opinions and ideas and getting loads and loads of much needed feedback. meeting and networking with other women. My purpose has always been to support other women in achieving their goals, whether it be by participating in writing critique groups, business leader associations and financial education. In the last few years that goal has been fine-tuned, by incorporating all three support aspects when I give women empowerment classes centered around financial independence. I wrote Option Trading in Your Spare Time: A Guide to Financial Independence for Women in 2009. http://bit.ly/14AeAl The book has been well received and many women are finding their way to financial independence and prosperity through option trading which offers the flexibility of trading from anywhere, at anytime of day. Hi my name is Jane, I live in southern Ontario, not far from the great lakes. My husband and I live on a farm in a small community, we are pretty much semi retired from farming. But in the spring of the year we still make maple syrup. Oh but the sweet stuff does keep us busy. I am sorry that I have not been able to get the time to introduce myself until now. Anyways here goes..
I have two sons ages 37 and 32, the oldest has 2 sons by a previous marriage and a little girl with his second wife. Oh yes my boys are from a previous marriage as well. I have been very fortune that my present husband loves these guys just like they were his own sons and they look to him for advice as well.
At the moment I am not working, I guess you could say lam at the cross roads in my life of not knowing what to do next. When you realize you are closing in on 60, Hmmm !!! And not much education to boot...
I enjoy gardening, reading, the great outdoors and going for walks through the bush..
I hope to get to know some of you in time and that we can exchange inspirations and ideas with one another.

Oh My Goodness, where do I begin? First of all, I am Pam and I live the sunny, southern state of Georgia. Making me a true southern gal! Grits, gravy and all!
I am very excited to be a part of this group and look forward to meeting yall.
I have two children, Shane (36), and April (29), both of which, live in Georgia. They are the light of my life. I have four grandchildren...Katelyn, Brian, Haliegh and Andrew.
I am both a victim of and an advocate for childhood sexual abuse victims. I have written my life story and had it publshed. I wrote this book primarily for two reasons, to let other victims know they are not alone and hopefully help someone else. If anyone would like to discuss this matter in any way, I am more than willing, but please know that I am in no way any type of counselor and all I can tell you is what I did in any situation. Sometimes just talking or listening helps.
I have to smile, I have recieved many positive reviews on this book and a lot of them deal with my sanity and they wonder how I could possibly still be sane. It's all relavent. I am happy however, that it has helped so many other people.
In 1998, I have brain surgery for an anuerysm and the surgery was sudccessful. However, three days later, I had a stroke which left me with some challenges, but I am breathing and functioning, so I am very happy. I am more than happy to discuss this event as well.
There is so much more than I could ever hope to put in this box, but please add me as your friend and we will be just that! I look forward to meeting all of you.

Hello My name is Shanel and im from Mississauga ON Canada,
I look forward to interacting with new women of all levels in life.
I would like to meet friends and hear what they have to say about life experiences, ups and downs, and also how they come over obstacles in their lives as well.
I was raised my Father who was great and taught me a lot, but was always kinda of looking for that mother figure in my life. Now I have come to realize that I just need to get out there and find it.
Im very excited to meet new people and share stories so we can all learn and become better to pass it along.

I would like to say welcome to BraverHeart Women. I read your story and I am sorry to hear about your recent divorce. It sounds like you have a great daughter, she is there for you at your time of need and that is a beautiful thing. You are in great hands here at BraveHeart Women, we are all here for you when ever you need to talk to someone. These women are amazing, they have helped me through so much every since I joined three months ago with my problems. I have had problems with me and my friends growing apart and starting a social life without them, because we do not have anything in common anymore. These women has guided me how to handle the situation and move on with my life and be happy. Trust me we all are here to get you through this difficult time. My advice is take it one day at a time pray for guidance and you will find your way in the world again. You will get through this it will take some time, but I know through all of your hurt it is a strong and happy woman inside of you. Before you know it you will be enjoying your life again. Remember we are all here for you. God Bless You!

Hi, Im Christina Doyle and I live in Richmond Hill Ontario Canada! I am so excited to be part of this unique and embracing community of women! I am one of four rare bone cancer survivors in all of Canada. Through my long journey, and I mean long, 5 month stay in the hospital and well over a year of rehab I learned how to walk again. The tumor was found in my left leg 16 years ago, my entire left leg is a titanium prosthesis of which I am very grateful for. You cant see it, it is inside my skin. Then I became a motivational speaker, a country music recording artist where my music was played world wide and now author of my Audio story called Angels Dont Wear Pyjamas. Part of the proceeds is going to Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto in honour of my surgeon Dr. Robert S. Bell. I am so grateful to be here with you all and to encourage every woman out there, plant the seeds of your passion, no one says you cant start, and please dont wait for trouble, it finds us, but that is not the problem, it is what do you do, how do you cope when it hits, everyone falls, but HOW HIGH CAN YOU GO is my question to you! You would not believe how high you can go. I encourage every woman to think gratitude and then believe good things will come, not when you want them to come but when it is right! Youll know, you will know.
Live your life to the fullest and may my message be a cushion to someone out there who is struggling, I know what struggle is all about.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Hello Brave Heart Women,
I live in Ohio and I am extremely blessed to have four beautiful children, three daughters (ages 31, 21, and 11) and a son (age 23). My 31 year old daughter, a register nurse and grad student, is in the process of adopting; I can't wait to officially be grandma to a little guy who is 9 and a young lady who is 11.
My life was a continuous circle of challenges for twenty-seven plus years. When I had given up hope my guardian angels appeared providing me with their love, encouragement, inspiration, and ... Today, I am a survivor of physical and emotional violence!
At present, I attend college full time. In August 2010, I will have earned my bachelor's degree. Yessss ...! As a non-traditional (adult) student I took advantage of the opportunity to write my own degree with concentrations in Human Resource Management, Conflict Management, and Non-profit/Human Services Management. I am so proud of me!
I hope, Brave Heart Women, that I can inspire other women faced with similar challenges to fall upwards instead of downwards.

Hi I'm June and I Live In California and I look forward to joining this group. I'm a mother of three, my dauther is 15 yrs. old two sons 32 & 34, a grandmother of 4. I'm divorced for about a littler over a year, I moved from Michigan to California to try and start a new life. Its been very hard on myself and my daugher, my ex-husband ended up with the home in Michigan, I miss home very much. I get very depressed at times, but I know that I have to keep moving, I dont know many people here, I have no social life at all. I feel scared alot and alone. My daughter do her best at trying to keep me going. I wish I could have someone to talk to other then my daughter about our situation. This is why I joined this site. I feel so all alone and I'm tired of feel this way and would like to get on with my life.
